RCT gathering of Central Region

October 12th and 13th were wonderful days for sisters in the central region.

20 sisters from the central region (Sagar, Ashta, Bhopal, and Khandwa) had gathered at St. Joseph’sConvent, Khandwa for the RCT meeting.

Fr. Shaji and Sr.Rashmi CSJ were the resource persons for the two days gathering. Fr.Shaji enlightened the group on the theme ‘The church of Christon the mission in the world’. In a nutshell, Fr. Shaji described to the group regarding the extraordinary missionary month October 2019. He elucidated the challenges we may have to face in our apostolate. His words enthused the missionary zeal within each other.

The next session was taken by Sr.Rashmi CSJ from Pachmarhi Province, on the theme Interculturality (Living Mission Interculturally). It was an interactive session. She helped us to become aware of the blessing of being an Indian where we see a colourful India blending with different cultures. As our pioneers came as a missionary in India and worked to give Jesus to all, we now have a number of sisters opting for foreign missions with much love and zeal to be an effective missionary in every part of the world.

It was followed by the sharing of the experiences and challenges faced by different vocation promoters for more fruitful vocations. Sisters from different communities shared, and all of them decided to still work hard for more vocations as the harvest is ready and the labourers are few.

The new core team was then elected. Sr. Flora as the Co-ordinator, Sr. Sarita as in charge of Vocation Promotion and Sr.Brinda incharge of Communication. The alternates are Srs. Saumya and Kavita. The new team was welcomed and the outgoing members were thanked for all their valuable contributions.

Finally, all renewed with new zeal and missionary spirit marched towards Deoli for a pilgrimage to Mariam Bella. A place where people have experienced the closeness and the miracles in their lives. It was a time of togetherness and joy.
