Creating Records

St Joseph’s Convent Sr. Sec. Girls School, Idgah Hills, Bhopal was awarded the first prize with a cash award of ₹ 100,000/- for the band display on August 16, 2019 , a war memorial situated at Bhopal.

India celebrated its 73rd Independence Day on 15th August 2019 with great enthusiasm, creativity and deep sense of patriotism. On this occasion, a band display was organized at Shaurya Smarakinviting the school students,police and army personnel.It was held on 16th August 2019.The Programme was a pinnacle of success and excellence for the students of St. Josephs’s, Idgah Hills.

Though it was only a celebration the Governor,Shri Lal Ji Tandon and the Government officials who viewed the grand and captivating band display was motivated to reward the students who toiled hard in spite of the inclemencies of the weather. The governorannounced the first and the second best band display groups. To the incredible surprise and ecstatic Joy St. Joseph’s Convent Sr.Sec.School Idgah Hills, Bhopal was placed in the 1st position with a cash award of one lakh rupees. In addition, the event received entry into the LIMCA Book of Records. St. Joseph’s once again proved to be at her best–creating records.
