Monday, March 19,the Sisters of St. Joseph in Asha Niketan Campus, Bhopal, gathered together in Marian Hall for a common celebration of the Feast of St. Joseph, the Patron of the Universal Church and Patron of the congregation.
Most Rev. Dr. Leo Cornelio SVD, the Archbishop of Bhopal presided over the Eucharistic celebration along with other priests, sisters, brothers, and well-wishers. Bishop Leo encouraged the faithful gathered to be proud of their Christian calling and witness to a life of love, forgiveness and reconciliation personified in St. Joseph.
“Stronger the love, deeper the hurt, faster the forgiveness,” was the quote with which S. Navya in her introduction described St. Joseph. He was highlighted as a father who instilled the values of love and forgiveness in Jesus his son who in turn became an embodiment of these virtues during his life.
Special prayers were offered for various needs of the Church and the world. The beautiful music andsinging made the celebration more meaningful. Everyone was invited to Marian Community for the breakfast soon after the Mass.
