Kitchen Garden

Due to the menace of the monkeys, we fenced in, a few months ago, our vegetable patch, not realizing that one day, we would depend totally on home veggies during this coronavirus period.

This has turned out to be a great blessing! When vegetables are scarce and difficult to procure in town, it is our organic home-grown vegetables that are cooked and served at the dining table. We have tomatoes, beans, carrot, radish, greens, karela, potatoes, some of which are shared generously with our surrounding communities, neighbors, and friends. What could be stored is frozen for a rainy day! We ensure that while enjoying the nutrients and vitamins of our own veggies, we are economic as well, not knowing how long this lockdown will continue.

We praise and thank God for His goodness and mercy towards us as we take reasonable care of ourselves and stay healthy!
