‘Navtej’–a new light was the theme for the annual day of St. Joseph’s Convent School, Primary Section, Ratlam. The evening of November 30, illumined the portals of St. Joseph’s.
Navtej received a green signal when the dignitaries lighted the traditional Indian lamp. Mrs Jamuna Bhide, the ADM of Ratlam and Mr Sandeep Kerketta–the CEO of Zila Panchayat, Ratlam were the chief guest and the guest of honour.
The school report was beautifully depicted through the enactment of dance drama. The message of finding inner peace, union and self-discipline were depicted through physical activities such as dangal, Zumba, lathi-khela, fitness fusion, and yoga.
Next, the students enacted the merits of mobile and technology over human lives. Through this play, students passed the message on how these gadgets tempt and lure humanity like the angel of light and how they have overpowered human beings mentally and physically leaving the beautiful world to devastate and isolated.
The rhythms of the world mesmerized the audience. The grand finale and the National Anthem gave closure to this event.
