50 Golden years of service in the vineyard of the LORD
29th September was one of the joy filled days at Jhansi communities, as we celebrated the golden jubilee of the religious profession of our dear sisters Sr. Amata and Sr. Augusta.
The occasion was enriched by the solemn Eucharistic celebration by Rt. Rev. Peter Parapaullil, and jointly celebrated by many priests from near and far. The jubilee spirit heightened with the presence of their family members, friends well wishers sisters and parish people.
The celebration was enriched with the presence of our beloved provincial superior Sr. Ophelia Fernandez and our General Councilor Sr. Philomena.
It was a day to recall and thank God for all those who helped and supported them in these years. We are grateful to God for walking with our sisters and keeping their zeal to accomplish His Holy Will in the service of humanity.
Dear Sr. Amata and Sr. Augusta you are precious to God and to us and we thank you for your generous service to the province, congregation, and St. Jude’s hospital, to the people and to the church as a whole.
