A Thrilling Moment for Asha Niketan School for the Deaf

Wed. 28 August 2019, Bhopal: In an interschool painting competition organized by Rabindranath Tagore University, Bhopal, M.P.,Aman Verma of Asha Niketan School for the Deaf, a student of class 11 bags the first prize.
Students of class 9 to 12 from various schools of Bhopal participated in this competition. The theme for painting was ‘Environment and Development’ that had to be completed in two hours. Eighteen hearing impaired students from Asha Niketan School for the Deaf participated in the painting competition with the normal studentsfrom other schools.

Many of the deaf students of Asha Niketan School have a passion for painting.Whenever they get opportunity like this for painting, they put the best of their ability and do it well. And that’s what the result of this competition is. From among two hundred students all-roundthe schools of Bhopal, it was the hearing-impaired student declared as the best painter in this competition. It is really a moment of great joy and pride for students and staff at Asha Niketan School for the Deaf.
