Renewed and revitalized in Spirit after six days of Ignatian retreat

Renewed and revitalized in Spirit after six days of Ignatian retreat, forty-five-chapter delegates from the Province of Pachmarhi gathered at the Provincial House in Fox Rock, Pachmarhi, from 5^th to 7th June 2025 to begin preparations for the upcoming Provincial Chapter scheduled for October 2025.

1. Maurice the Provincial, in her inaugural address titled, ‘Quality in Religious Life and Mission,’ she introduced and explained the theme of the provincial chapter to the group, “CHRIST CENTERED COMMUNITY AS LEAVEN FOR MISSION.”

The following key points were highlighted by her. Quality of Life: Rooted in our relationship with God. Quality of Mission: Requires deep commitment to Christ and competence for effective ministry. Rediscovering the Charism: A call to return to the Founder’s spirit and the congregation's roots. Vocation: Demands total focus and commitment to a mission that must be fulfilled in one's lifetime. Striving Towards Credibility: Built on moral integrity, Gospel values, and being trustworthy, inspiring role models. Creating a Congregational Culture: Guided by core values such as the primacy of God, sense of Church, discipleship, shared life, self-giving, and care for the sick and dying—values to be cherished and passed on.

The group spent three days deliberating on the Vision and Mission statements, evaluating current ministries, and discussing the future direction of ministries.

The assembly ended on 7th June, with delegates leaving renewed in purpose and committed to living out the mission as a united, faith-filled community.
