Republic Day celebration, Ashta

On Sunday, January 26, 2025, the 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervor at the Pushpa Kalyan Hospital campus in Ashta, Sehore. The entire country proudly commemorates this day, marking the adoption of the Constitution of Republic India, which came into effect on January 26, 1950.

The chief guest, Mr. Chandra Shekhar Tiga, the Sub Inspector of Police Ashta, and the guest of honor, Fr. Inigo IMS, were welcomed with a vibrant tribal dance performed by the hospital staff . This dance showcased the rich cultural heritage and diversity of the country. Two staff members emceed the program under the guidance of Mr. Rakesh, the hospital's PRO.

The chief guests were felicitated and welcomed in a traditional manner, with garlanding, tilak, and shawl ceremonies. A group of staff nurses sang a patriotic song to remind everyone of the sacrifices made by the country's freedom fighters. Following this, the chief guest hoisted the flag and delivered the speech.

In his speech, Mr. Chandra Shekhar emphasized the importance of upholding the spirit of the Constitution and living in peace, harmony, and brotherhood. Fr. Inigo, the guest of honor, also shared his words of blessings, stressing the need for personal integrity, fighting against injustice, and building a just society.

The celebration concluded with the singing of the national anthem, distribution of sweets, and a vote of thanks by Mr. Rohit, a hospital staff member. The assembly dispersed with a sense of gratitude and joy. Jai Hind!
