On November 11, 2024, the third session delved into the theme of "Intercultural, Spirit-Filled Pilgrims of Hope." Fr. Edwin SJ opened with a prayer to the Holy Spirit and guided discussions on respecting diverse cultures, transcending language and cultural barriers, and fostering equality and unity. The session emphasized living a Spirit-filled mission through evangelization, liberation, inter-religious dialogue, and inculturation.
Reflecting on Sr. Barbara Ann Muller CSJ's words, Fr. Edwin highlighted the call for "tough minds, tender hearts, ready hands, and a radiant spirit" in mission work. Additionally, Pope Francis’s perspective on hope was shared, stressing that being Pilgrims of Hope means journeying forward with purpose, rather than wandering aimlessly.
The session concluded with time for reflection, group prayers, and commitment statements, reinforcing each group's dedication to the mission and vision.
