Being with sick and suffering

We, two Sister Nurses, S.Divya & I, decided to begin our Lenten journey by visiting few of our patients
around Yerla village. We were terribly distressed to see their miserable plight. One lay on his sick bed,
having recently lost his wife in a road accident. He has bedsores and bemoaned the fact that he could
not get his daughter married. He appealed for help. The other patients expressed relief on seeing us. We
dressed their wounds, assisted them as much as we could. And with sad but happy hearts thanked God
for inspiring us to make this visit on Ash Wednesday .
