Thursday, 12 August, on the occasion of 75th Independence anniversary of India, Asha Niketan School for the Deaf initiated one-day oath swearing rally on “NASHA MUKT BHARAT” under the guidelines of Social Justice Department, New Delhi, Government of India.
This rally was organized in collaboration with the government officials of Madhya Pradesh. Some of the officials present in this rally were Vice President of BJP Shri. Rahul kothari, Shrimati Neha Bagga spokes person BJP, RRS Dinesh Yadav - District Coordinator Bhopal, Shrimati Malti Rai - Mayor Bhopal, Shri Babulal Yadav - Ward Member Ward No-49, Arvind Verma Ward Member Ward No-48.
All the officials were welcomed with bouquets by Sr. Rohini Vice Principal and Sr. Agnes Manager of the school. After which the oath on “Nasha Mukt Bharat” was pronounced by all the students and teachers of Asha Niketan school along with the officials.
All the participants took a Tiranga each in their hands and proceeded in rally from Asha Niketan School upto Habibganj Thana. During the procession participants raised the slogan Bharat Mata Ki Jai, and Vande Mataram. The main reason for initiating this rally was to spread the awareness of deaddiction (Nasha Mukt). Rally ended by swearing the same oath once again at Habibganj Thana premises.
